A busy Friday

Our busy Friday started with the Primary 7 pupils preparing for their MacMillan Coffee Morning.  The pupils and Miss Robertson worked very hard this week to arrange the event which ran from 9am to 10:30am.  I would like to pass on my thanks to the whole Primary 7 team who managed to raise a wonderful £450 for MacMillan Cancer Support.

I would also like to thank all the family members who came along to support the event.  The cakes were bought up very quickly and they had all disappeared before I had time to go and get one for myself!

During the coffee morning we had our first Parent Pop Poll.

This is a quick and easy way to gather the views of parents about the work of the school. All you have to do is pop a counter in a jar to vote. The question was:

If the school could offer exciting

activities for children from 8:45am each

day would your child be able to come to

school at that time?

The results were:
YES:24
NO:0

We would love more people to answer this question all you have to do is  follow the link below and click YES or NO.

My busy Friday ended with a lovely visit from two pupils who left us last year to head to Clydebank High.  It was great speaking with them and hearing how well they are getting on.  Keep working hard girls, I have high hopes!

Have a great weekend,

Mrs Paton
